Role summary
Administers and operates the Data Platform applications so the environment stays reliable, secure, and well-governed as sources and users are onboarded. The operational backbone of the program.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and configure the data platform applications across Azure and, later, Snowflake.
- Manage access control, security, and user provisioning.
- Monitor platform health, capacity, and performance.
- Support governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and environment management.
- Support engineering teams with platform-level configuration.
Must-have skills and experience
- Data platform application administration experience.
- Hands-on Azure administration, with readiness for Snowflake administration.
- Access control, security, and governance administration experience.
- Monitoring, capacity, and performance management skills.
Nice to have
- Snowflake administration experience.
- Experience administering GraphDB or MLOps tooling.
- Infrastructure-as-code and automation skills.
